THE ENNEAGRAM
The Enneagram is a dynamic map of our internal operating system that shows us how we see and experience the world. It is comprised of 9 types that each have their own unique patterns, basic fears, inherent strengths, and most importantly, a distinct motivation. The Enneagram is unique from other personality assessments because the Enneagram focuses on motivation rather than behavior, always asking the questions, “why do I do the things that I do?” and “why do I avoid certain things?” We may exhibit behaviors of all types, but we only have one primary motivation that is the basis of how we live and experience the world. WHO WE ARE
Paths to Presence is led by Rev. Andrew Bowles (he/him), a Certified Narrative Enneagram Teacher. Our desire is to help clients move beyond the patterns of our personality and live more fully from Presence. We use the wisdom of the Enneagram to deepen self-awareness, enhance self-compassion, and learn to live beyond our type. Rather than seeking to “be the best 9 I can be,” we want clients to engage their Essence. The Enneagram is a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. Andrew has been studying the Enneagram for over 12 years and is excited to bring its wisdom to his teaching and one-on-one work.
